Available NOW: Texas Marijuana Policy Voter Guide – Primary Edition

February 15, 2020 Jax News

We have sent out a survey to candidates seeking the Democratic and Republican nominations for the following offices: US Senate, US Congress, Texas House and Texas Senate. Their responses have been compiled and we have also included incumbent voting records, and contact information for all candidates seeking your vote to serve in the state and federal legislatures.

Primary Elections are coming up soon. Here is how you can prepare:

  • Identify your Texas House, Texas Senate, and U.S. House Districts. Click here.
  • During the Primary Election, you choose a political party to affiliate with. This intra-party election determines which candidates each party will send to compete in the General Election in November. Review the Republican Candidates responses and or the Democratic Candidates responses. ( Libertarians have a separate process.)
  • Learn about the next steps for engaging candidates and in the political convention process.
  • Remind everyone to vote!! Early Voting: February 18-28, 2020 | Election Day: March 3rd, 2020. Learn about voting location what you need to vote and more HERE.

Please make a donation to support this important program!

Texas NORML originated the first cannabis centric Voter Guide in 2012. We continued to expand the program by working with our coalition, Texans for Responsible Marijuana Policy, a broad coalition of organizations, activists, and community leaders dedicated to realizing effective, efficient, and evidence-based marijuana policies in Texas. We will also offer a General Election edition.
