Ron Paul Introduces Industrial Hemp Farming Act of 2009

April 23, 2009 TexasNORML Call to Action

After much anticipation, Ron Paul reintroduced H.R. 1009, a bill that received little attention from the House committees in 2007 and 2008, under a new number, H.R. 1866.    Most of the text remains the same,  and, unfortunately,  the same can be said for the attention it is gathering.  So far, it has been referred to House Judiciary, House Energy and Commerce, Committee on Energy and Commerce, and the Committee on the Judiciary.

How you can help:

Contact your representatives, and ask them to co-sponsor.

Click here to find out who your representative is.

Call Ron Paul’s Washington office  and request that this be scheduled for a committee hearing.
