End of Year Summary – 2014
In 2014, we held our regular Open Monthly Meetings (you can view the recordings of these meetings here), featured monthly Traveling Strategy Meetings to prepare the greater Austin Area for the upcoming 2015 Legislative Session, held monthly PACT Meetings to empower and support our patients, and held several Senior Alliance Meetings to help reach out to this important demographic. Directors of Texas NORML participated in approximately 100 student, tv, radio and newspaper interviews! Additionally, we participated in the following events. 12/13 – Activist Training Day – Our 7th Annual Activist Training Day was held at the Capitol Building for the first time! View pictures of the event here, watch the video here and review the resources covered here. 
12/15 – HB 507 Press Conference – Representative Moody announce the introduction on HB 507 which removes the threat of arrest, jail time and a criminal record for possession of up to an ounce of marijuana and assessing violators with a $100 civil fine.
