Join Informed Texas and Texas Veterans for Medical Marijuana for this online conference on Saturday, October 17th, 2020 about cannabis! They will be joined by Texas Agriculture Commissioner Miller, Jordan Tishler, MD, Bryon Adinoff, MD, Wendy Askew, MD, Darina Douchi, Pharm(D) as well as two panels of veterans that will focus on Pain, PTSD and Cannabis as well as Veteran Engagement. There will be multiple Q&A opportunities. Veterans, patients and caregivers are all encouraged to participate in this event and learn more about cannabis.
The medical professionals will discuss how medical cannabis works, why THC is important and how cannabis affects symptoms of PTSD and Pain as well as potential prescription drug interactions. Attendees will also hear the personal stories of several Texas veterans about how medical cannabis has impacted their life and how they empower themselves to engage on this topic.
