As a result of the pandemic, we are having to re-evaluate how we operate as a state. This includes the way we do business and how we choose to utilize resources. This will be a busy session that will address Texas’ significant budget shortfall, calls for dramatic police reform, redistricting, sunset review for the TDA and other agencies and more! (Note: An agency will automatically be abolished on its Sunset date unless the Legislature passes a bill to continue it, typically for another 12 years.)
