[LBJ Future Forum] Legalizing Marijuana: What are the economic, social, and cultural impacts?

Last week, the LBJ Future Forum hosted a discussion to hear where the legalization debate is headed in Texas and how it could affect our economy, communities, and political climate. The Future Forum is the LBJ Presidential Library’s vibrant, public policy group.

The panel discussion was “Legalizing Marijuana: What are the economic, social, and cultural impacts?”
Panelists included:
– Jax Finkel, Executive Director, Texas NORML
– Yoko Miyashita, General Counsel, Leafly
– Margaret Moore, Travis County District Attorney
– Moderator: Alex Samuels, Political reporter, The Texas Tribune
