Texas NORML has continued to follow the situation surrounding the pandemic. We take our obligation to the public very seriously, especially as we have many patients and elderly that participate in our organization and our events. The City of Austin has extended the restrictions for hosting public events through December. Compliance with these restrictions does not allow for an event like the Puff ‘n Putt Veteran Benefit to be held at the previously rescheduled date.
In order to allow for plenty of time for this situation to resolve, we have decided to set a date for next spring – Saturday, March 27th, 2021. All vendor spots, golfing teams and general admission tickets will be honored for this new date (3/27/21). We will continue to keep the event webpage updated.
For those that pre-ordered the limited edition 2020 benefit shirt, we will allow for shirt sales to stay open until Monday, August 31st, 2020. At that time, we will close sales to order the shirts. This should still allow for us to mail out the 2020 benefit shirts around the promised date of 9/19/20. If you have not yet purchased a shirt and would like to do so, purchase yours by 8/31/20.
