In the Senate, both the Civil Penalty Bill (SB 170) and Medical Cannabis Bill (SB 269) have been referred to committee! We have created an action alert for each that has editable letter for you to send to the committees.

We have also received the wonderful news that Representative Joe Moody has been appointed the Chair of the Criminal Jurisprudence Committee. Rep Moody is the author of the House version of the Civil Penalty Bill (HB 81). This ensures that the bill will receive a timely and positive hearing. The bill has not been referred to committee as appointments have just been made but it should be shortly. For now, we need you to let your personal legislators know that you support HB 81. This will help engage with all legislators so that they hear from their constituency before the bill gets to the house floor.
