Call to Action – Hand Write Your Legislators!

February 23, 2015 John VL Call to Action, News

We encourage you to HAND WRITE a letter to your Texas State Representative and Texas State Senator!

norml-txThe most significant way to contact your Legislators is by arranging an appointment to see them in their office, next is a HAND WRITTEN letter, followed by a phone call and lastly an email. Please note that Legislators DO NOT use their social media to track constituent opinions. To get your opinion logged in their systems, you MUST visit, write, call or email. They will review these logs when the bill comes before them for a vote.

If you would like tips for contacting your Legislators, along with some example scripts, please go here AND here – https://stage.texasnorml.org/activist-training-day-resources/

Need to find out who your Texas State Representative and Texas State Senator is? Go here for their mailing address and more – https://stage.texasnorml.org/who-represents-me/
